At the BRICS Bharat Innovates Exposition at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, our founders Veena Moktali and Koustubh Naik had the extraordinary opportunity to present Periwinkle’s AI-enabled cervical cancer screening and triage technology to Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and the powerful leaders of the BRICS nations.

For us, this moment represents much more than recognition.

It is a validation of a belief that has guided Periwinkle from the beginning: world-class medical technology can be built in India to solve some of the world’s most urgent healthcare challenges.

From our beginnings in Pune to screening more than 500,000 women across multiple countries, every step of this journey has been driven by one purpose: to help ensure that no woman loses her life to cervical cancer simply because detection came too late.

To have this innovation presented before the Prime Minister of India and global leaders at BRICS is both an honour and a responsibility.
